Tennis Mentors Aims To Give Back
Share:

The idea was hatched in a hotel room in Milan between matches.

Trent Bryde wanted to find a way help younger tennis players while also making a little money.

He knew he couldn't be a full-time coach until his playing career was over, but didn't want his knowledge to go to waste.

The 17-year-old found a happy medium.

Instituting the help of three of his closest friends, Bryde developed Tennis Mentors. The company provides advice to rising junior players through phone calls, hitting sessions and video analysis.

Clients can book sessions with blue chips Bryde, Patrick Kypson, Sam Riffice and Gianni Ross through the company's website TennisMentors.net.

“We are really passionate about this and we really think we can make a difference in junior tennis with our insight,” Bryde said. “A lot of kids don't have a 'big brother' to talk with that has been through what they are going through recently. We want them to be able to just open up and talk to us.”
