Who's Hot
Hot 100 List - August 2018
Share:

The summer is winding down, but players on the Hot 100 List are still squeezing out the last drops of freedom to make the most of their time on the court. We caught up with four players who performed notably in the month of July and will all elevate from three stars to four stars in September.

Jeffrey Dewald (Franklin, Tennessee)

The three-star rising senior took some time off of tennis last year, and really missed playing the game. Upon his return to competitive play in March, Dewald’s ranking had dropped to an all-time low.

“I knew I had to work hard to get the results on the court,” Dewald. “While it has been challenging, I have had a lot of success in the past four or five months, and I am very proud of my results.”

In July, Dewald finished fifth in a Level 3 USTA National Tournament in Macon, Georgia, losing only one match. He also won the USTA Southern Clay Court Championships and competed in a few ITA tournaments. He finished with a 9-1 record for July.
