SPOTLIGHT ON Tori Allen (Horsham, Pennsylvania)
Music on your playlist: I listen to a lot of different genres so I never get bored, but right now I am listening to Kanye West and Travis Scott.
Dream vacation destination: I want to go to France because what do they not have? I could shop in Paris, go to the beach or, most importantly, visit Patrick Mouratoglou at his academy.
Favorite food: It’s weird, but I like Mentos. But other than that, I like pizza.
Favorite athletes: Naomi Osaka, Serena Williams and Roger Federer
Future occupation: My dream would definitely be to go pro and then become an ESPN anchor when I retire. But I also want to be a sports agent because I just want to stay involved in the athletic field. It’s just a crucial thing for me.
If you could have dinner with anyone dead or alive, who would it be: Definitely Naomi Osaka because she is the highest-paid female athlete in history so she has to have an exciting and interesting life. I would ask her a lot about that. She is also a phenomenal tennis player who spent the past few months fighting for black lives on her own, which I have a lot of respect for.
Must-watch TV show: The Outer Banks
Favorite movie: Us is a cinematic masterpiece. It’s just a really good horror movie. I also like Ocean’s Eight. I am here for female empowerment.
If I am not playing tennis, I am … hanging out with my friends. During the pandemic, we have to be really safe and stay outside with masks.
