TOURNAMENTS
Other than USTA Tournaments, I have entered into several local tournaments and placed as follows:
I.V.C.H. Tennis Classic (July 5-7, 2013) - 1st Place/Girls' 17&U Singles; 2nd Place/Women's Doubles; 2nd Place/Mixed Doubles.
Ottawa City Rec. Tournament (July 15-19, 2013) - 1st Place/Women's Singles; 1st Place/Women's Doubles.
HIGH SCHOOL
Soph./Jr. years on Ottawa Twp. High School's Varsity Team and played No. 1 Doubles. Advancing to No. 1 Singles my Senior year. Sectional Runner-Up Soph. year (2011) in Doubles; Sectional Champ Jr. year (2012) in Doubles and Sectional Champ Sr. year (2013) in Singles. State qualifier all three Soph./Jr./Sen. years. Named "Captain" of Varsity Squad. Named All-Conference Team, All-Area Team in Soph./Jr./Sr. Years; All-Academic in
Jr./Sr. Years; Area "Player(s) of the Year" in Jr. Year in Doubles; National Honor Society Member.
10/18-19/13 - Sectionals Tournament at (@ Ottawa Twp. H.S.) (11 Teams competing). Played No. 1 Singles (#2 Seed) and went 4-4 after Bye in 1st Round. Placed 1st in Singles. Our team also won the Sectional. (On to State Oct. 24th!)
10/11-12/13 - NIB 12 Conference Tournament at Rochelle H.S. (12 Teams competing for Conference). Played No. 1 Singles and went 3-1 (L/W/W/W) after Bye in 1st Round. Placed 5th (out of 12). Very tough tournament...but placed where my coach and I felt I would. #1-#3 Seeds on East Side are all top ranked players in their respective grades. (On to Sectionals next weekend!)
10/05/13 - Rolling Meadow's H.S. Girls Varsity Invitational (8 Teams w/ #1 & #2 Singles combined). I played No. 1 Singles and went 2-2 (W/L/W/L). I placed 6th (out of 16). Very tough tournament...we like to call it call it "mini state."
09/20-21/13 - Bloomington H.S. Girls Gold Invitational (2 Days) (16+ Teams) was held @ Bloomington H.S. I played No. 1 Singles and went 2-2 (L/W/W/L). I placed 7th (out of 18). In doubles play my partner and I played at No. 3 Doubles and went 2-2 (W/L/W/L) and we placed 4th out of 16 Teams. Lots of good competition at this 2 Day Tournament.
09/14/13 - Joliet H.S. Girls Invitational (8 Teams) was held @ Joliet West H.S. I played No. 1 Singles (#1 Seed) and went 2-1 (lost in 3 full set tough championship match (4-6; 6-2; 6-1). I placed 2nd (out of 8) at No. 1 Singles. Our team won the tournament.
09/07/13 - Ottawa H.S. Girls Invitational (8 Teams) was held @ OHS.
I played No. 1 Singles and Won (6-3; 6-7[0-7]; 10-2)-Lost (to 1st Seed & Tourn. Champ 6-0; 6-1)-Won (6-4; 6-2). This was another tough tournament that our coach likes to get us into for excellent practice and a great learning experience. I placed 3rd (out of 8) at No. 1 Singles.
08/31/13 - Ottawa H.S. Girls Tennis participated in the 16 Team Centennial H.S. Invite in Champaign, IL. I played No. 1 Singles in this double elimination tournament and W-L(to 1st Seed)-W-L to place 6th out of 16 No. 1 Singles players. This tournament is played mainly at the U of I Atkins Tennis Courts and is a large tournament with mostly high ranking (schools) tennis teams.

Attened Nike camp and Bradley University Peoria, IL. (June, 2012)
Attended yearly Ottawa City Recreation Tennis Camps during 6 weeks of summer from 2006-2013 (±3.0 Hrs./Day; 5 Days/Week; 6 Weeks).
