Stanford Women, Wake Forest Men Capture NCAA Titles

A low seed with a rich history. A high seed trying to make history.
The Stanford women and Wake Forest men entered the NCAA Division I championships from very different vantage points, but each walked off the court as champions.

No. 15-seeded Stanford captured the 19th NCAA team title in program history with a dramatic 4-3 victory over top-seeded Vanderbilt on Tuesday afternoon at the Wake Forest Tennis Complex in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
A few hours later, top-seeded Wake Forest captured the program’s very first NCAA team title in front of its hometown fans with a 4-2 win over No. 3 Ohio State.
