With chilly temperatures and record-breaking rainfall across many parts of the country, it can be difficult for junior tennis players to find quality time on the court. Many players, however, still managed to amp up their game in February.
The Hot 100 lists are published each month, and the March Hot 100 lists feature the one hundred boys and girls who most improved their rankings during the month of February. You can find out more about the Hot 100 - and how the lists are calculated - by reading here.
The latest lists, published today, are available here:
We talked to a few of these top performers:
Elizabeth Eades (Floyds Knob, Indiana)
Four-star sophomore Elizabeth “Ellie” Eades has been playing tennis for most of her life. She began competing in tournaments at age 7 and attained blue-chip status shortly after.

Unlike many young players, Eades remained in a full-time school. “We were not ready to begin online schooling or make large adjustments to our family dynamics,” said her mother, Faye Eades.
In middle school, Ellie Eades split her time between tennis and basketball, and she competed in fewer national tennis tournaments. “After middle school, [Ellie] began to assess her goals and what actions she needed to take to obtain them,” Faye Eades said.
Ellie Eades decided to focus solely on tennis with the goal of playing college tennis in mind. She switched to a high school with a strong tennis program and coaching staff. Eades now attends Sacred Heart Academy in Louisville, Kentucky, where she trains with coach Whitney Collins Thompson. She also works with coach Rob Spencer of the Louisville Indoor Racquet Club.
