SPOTLIGHT ON Josh Finkle (Newtown, Pennsylvania)
Music on your playlist: I usually listen to rap music that has some kind of beat that you can get pumped up for a match or tournament. It’s a lot of Travis Scott and those type of rappers.
Dream vacation destination: I have always wanted to go to Hawaii because everyone that always goes to Hawaii says how cool it is.
Favorite food: Chicken parm, or really anything with chicken to be honest. I just like to eat chicken with every meal, sometimes even with breakfast. I never get sick of chicken.
Favorite athletes: Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Dominic Thiem
Future occupation: I want to do something with sports medicine. I’d like to be a team doctor for a professional sports team. But if I don’t get a job there, I’d like to be a physical therapist.
If you could have dinner with anyone dead or alive, who would it be: Michael Jordan. I would just like to ask him how he shut out all the outside noise and just focused on his game without getting caught up with the stuff outside basketball. I want to know how he just focused on his morals and what he wanted to do instead of what others wanted him to do.
Must-watch TV show: The Office. My mom used to live in Scranton. I have watched that show four times.
Favorite movie: Elf or Step Brothers. Anything with Will Ferrell really.
If I am not playing tennis, I am … usually just hanging out with friends if they are available.
