Spotlight Players of the Week: Manci Pal and Brannen Coe

SPOTLIGHT ON Manci Pal (Riviera Beach, Florida )
Music on your playlist: I like to listen to a lot of alternative music rather than pump-up music because I find that pump-up music kind of gives me anxiety. I listen to things that will keep me calm and gets me in the mindset.
Dream vacation destination: Turkey to see the hot air balloons.
Favorite food: Hungarian crepes with Nutella, strawberry, cinnamon and sugar.
Favorite athletes: Definitely Serena Williams. I love her. She lives near me so I bump into her from time to time at the cafe and stuff. She’s always been super nice to me. I idolize everything she does. She’s a really great role model as a woman for little girls. Another is Lebron James. I’ve grown up watching him since I was about 6 or 7, and watching him play in person was one of the best experiences I’ve had. He’s a great role model for hard work and determination and he’s all around a fun person to watch.
Future occupation: My dream is to do neuroscience or something in psychology and analyzing behaviors. I am also very interested in developing vaccines.
If you could have dinner with anyone dead or alive, who would it be: Michael Scott from The Office. That would be a dinner to remember for sure.
Must-watch TV show: Criminal Minds
Favorite movie: Mercy
If I am not playing tennis, I am … studying and doing homework.

SPOTLIGHT ON Brannen Coe (Cary, North Carolina)
Music on your playlist: Usually rap music. Martin & Gina and RAPSTAR by Polo G are two of my favorites.
Dream vacation destination: Probably an island somewhere. Maybe Hawaii or something.
Favorite food: Mexican food, tacos.
Favorite athletes: Novak Djokovic and Javier Baez
Future occupation: own my own business. I am not sure what it will be yet, but I like that you can have more freedom to do what you want.
If you could have dinner with anyone dead or alive, who would it be: Michael Jordan because I would want to know how he can always be so competitive and use the things going on around him to help him play at a higher level.
Must-watch TV show: The Simpsons
Favorite movie: Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith
If I am not playing tennis, I am … hanging out with friends or on my phone playing games.
