Julieta Pareja didn’t let her limited super national experience hold her back.
The blue chip rising seventh grader not only captured one title at the USTA Girls 12s National Championships, she made it a clean sweep.
Pareja collected two gold balls at the Windward Lake Club in Alpharetta, Georgia without dropping a set in singles or doubles.

The No. 15 seed from Carlsbad, California defeated No. 1 Isabelle DeLuccia of Livingston, New Jersey 6-4, 6-1 in the singles final. A short time later, Pareja returned to the courts with partner Harper Stone (Greenwood, South Carolina) and the No. 5 duo defeated No. 4 Bela Martinez (San Juan, Puerto Rico) and Anita Tu (Melbourne, Florida) 6-3, 6-4 in the final.
“It felt really good. I was pretty excited,” said Pareja, who made her super national debut last month at the Girls 14s Clay Courts. “I was a bit nervous during the singles final, but I was super happy when I won.”
