INDIAN WELLS, Calif.-- Familiar faces continued their success last week at the FILA Easter Bowl USTA Spring National Championships, with USTA Winter National champions Andrew Johnson and Jiarui Zhang adding to their gold ball collection in Boys 14s and 12s, respectively, while Girls 14s champion Raya Kotseva stayed perfect in the desert and Nikol Davletshina stepped up to claim her first singles gold in the Girls 12s.

The Indian Wells Tennis Garden, host site of the Easter Bowl for nine years, was filled with excited young players experiencing the event for the first time and the noise of construction crews disassembling the temporary bleachers around the outside stadium courts from the recently completed BNP Paribas Open.
Despite the hustle and bustle, the 13-year-old Kotseva, seeded sixth, felt nothing but good vibrations during the week, as she added the 14s singles and doubles titles after winning both 12s titles in 2023.
"I love this place," said the Las Vegas resident, who defeated No. 3 seed Anjani Vickneswaran 6-0, 7-5 in the final. "It's amazing, very peaceful, and I feel very free when I play here."
