Elliot Wasserman remembers watching the older kids go through the college recruiting process at Austin Tennis Academy and hearing about their experiences at the signing parties the academy held to celebrate their achievements.

“It really inspired me and sparked my interest in playing in college,” Wasserman said. “It seemed like something that I would want to do when I got older. It gave me the vision of wanting to play tennis in college.”

Wasserman is one step closer to making it a reality. The five-star rising senior from Westlake, Texas has committed to Brown University.

“For me, the biggest thing that made the No. 1 choice and place I wanted to be at was the combination of athletics and academics,” Wasserman said. “I really like the vision Coach (Alex) Kasarov has for the team and I like the things he was telling me about how he wanted to run his program.”
