The top performers of September are heavy on the doubles end of the sport with a 16-year-old winning her first title on the professional circuit and a 38-year-old earning her 10th grand slam championship trophy. The British boys also had an outsize impact during the month, winning a grand slam championship, a Futures title and the Junior Davis Cup.
