Kristy Frilling at the Eddie Herr

One of the promising young female stars in American tennis is sophomore Kristy Frilling (Sidney, OH). The Blue Chip prospect had an impressive summer campaign in 2005, competing as a fifteen-year-old in many national Girls' 18 events. Frilling had impressive wins over senior Blue Chip girls in each of these tournaments:

And last week, Frilling had an excellent outing at the Eddie Herr International Junior Tennis Championships at the IMG Bollettieri Sports Academy in Bradenton, Florida. I was able to talk with Frilling between matches last week about her experiences at the Championships.
