TennisRecruiting.net and Intercollegiate Tennis Association Announce Partnership
by TennisRecruiting.net, 10 March 2008
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) and the Tennis Recruiting Network have announced a strategic partnership to help college coaches connect with future players. Effective immediately, all ITA member coaches will be eligible to receive a special rate for the Coaching Advantage service at the TennisRecruiting.net website.
TennisRecruiting.net offers a wide range of content and services for college-bound athletes, coaches, and tennis enthusiasts. It is the online home of thousands of junior tennis players and their parents, with player profile web pages for over 60,000 high school and middle school tennis players.
"Our mission is to help college coaches connect with junior players, and working with the ITA should help us with that mission," said Julie Wrege, editor of TennisRecruiting.net. "The ITA is a broad and well-respected organization, and we are excited about the relationship. The ITA can help us expand our reach with college coaches, giving both colleges and players more options with respect to recruiting."
Long recognized as one of the best organized collegiate sports associations, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association is a non-profit organization which serves as the governing body of collegiate tennis in the United States. Comprised of nearly 1,500 member coaches representing over 1,200 institutions across the country from all three NCAA Divisions, as well as the NAIA and Junior and California Community Colleges, the ITA oversees activities involving over 25,000 college student-athletes. This agreement will help to make TennisRecruiting.net services more widely available to college coaches.
"We are enthusiastic about our new partnership with TennisRecruiting.net," said David A. Benjamin, ITA Executive Director. "TennisRecruiting.net will provide our ITA coaches with a great tool for identifying and recruiting a wide array of outstanding junior players. We are looking forward to a long and successful relationship with TennsRecruiting.net."
