Completed all requirements to graduate early from high school (January 27, 2009) to allow time to work on improving all aspects of the game prior to heading to college.
Volunteered at Moses Cone Hospital Surgery Ward in Spring 2009 (as she plans to become a surgeon).
Member of the 2008 BG16 USTA Zone Team Champions Squad - July 2008. Team went undefeated on way to the gold (5-0).
