Boney rallied from losing the first set for a 4-6, 6-4, 6-2 victory over Liberty's Julia Baltas to join her brother as the Class 4A state champions Saturday afternoon at the Reno Tennis Center.
Nevada State Sunrise Regional Girls Champion (2004,2005, & 2006)
The top two returning girls tennis singles players in Nevada competed for almost three hours Monday to decide the Sunrise Regional individual tournament final at Darling Tennis Center.
Canyon Springs senior Candynce Boney, who placed third in the state in 2005, defeated Liberty's Julia Baltas, who was state runner-up last year, 7-6 (8-6), 4-6, 6-1.

ACADEMY
Team Agassi- Candynce trains (3-4.5 hours) 4 days a week and (2 Hours) on Saturday with her Teammates Asia Muhammad,Brother Stan Breland,Jeff Vongman, & Brendan Aguliar. Also, recieving one on one's with guest coaches Andre Agassi, Darin Cahill, Mike Agassi, & Steffi Graf. Tim Blenkiron is the Headcoach and consider the Best Junior Development coach in America by most.
