July 2007
Lakewood National Open: Tyler was in the final 6 (FIC finalist) in Boys 18s Singles in the tough So. Cal National Open. He won six matches, beat two seeds and several five star players.

June 2007
SO CA Sectionals: Tyler got to the quarterfinals in Boys 18s Singles beating one Blue Chip player and one five star player. Got to the semifinals in Boys 18s Doubles losing in 3 sets to the team that won the division.

May 2007:
Anaheim Designated Tournament:Tyler got to the semifinals in Boys 18s Singles beating one 5 star player. WON the Boys 18s Doubles.
National Open Lakewood: Beat one 5 star player in Boys 18s Singles. WON the Boys 18s Doubles.

Individual: #1 Singles; Team MVP; Bay League Most Outstanding Player
Tyler enjoys team play and thrives in team pressure situations...
In Spring 2007:
National High School All-American Tournament - was undefeated in singles and doubles and voted "All Tournament Player"
Named "Player of the Year" by South Bay newspaper Daily Breeze
In high school team matches Tyler had 7 wins and 2 losses against 5 star players. He had 2 wins and 2 losses against blue chip players (both losses were to Ryan Thatcher who is usually #1 nationally in Boys 18s. Tyler lost a close one 7-5 to Ryan in the CIF team semifinals). He was undefeated (>20 wins) against 3 and 4 star players.
Tyler led his team to the CIF Division 1 Finals. Team lost to University High School in the finals but Tyler won all three of his sets (all were 5 star players). University coach said that Tyler should be CIF MVP.
